Each year, thousands of visitors gather at the Qu\u00e9bec Winter Carnival to partake in a multitude of activities suitable for all ages, such as nighttime parades, snow sculptures, and musical performances. Bonhomme Carnaval serves as the ambassador for this winter celebration. Here are some of the highlights:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bonhomme\u2019s Ice Palace:<\/strong> Bonhomme Carnaval symbolizes the festive spirit of this grand winter celebration. Each year, an Ice Palace is constructed for him, serving as a central point for numerous Carnival activities. Residents of Qu\u00e9bec City eagerly anticipate the commencement of construction on Bonhomme\u2019s palace! This is the prime opportunity to meet the iconic figure. <em>February 2 to 11, 2024.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Night Parades:<\/strong> Young and old alike gather on snow-covered streets to witness a parade of vibrant performances. Do not miss the two night parades featuring the Carnival&#8217;s star \u2013 Bonhomme himself! <em>February 3 and 10, 2024.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Ice Canoe Race:<\/strong> An extreme competitive sport where teams navigate the frigid waters of the St. Lawrence River. <em>February 4, 2024.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Ice and Snow Sculptures:<\/strong> Talented sculptors transform giant blocks of snow and ice into works of art, turning the city into a magnificent outdoor museum. <em>February 2 to 11, 2024.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>The Snow Bath:<\/strong> Brave individuals, clad only in their bathing suits, join Bonhomme for a playful frolic in the snow! <em>February 11, 2024.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Musical Evenings:<\/strong> Under the dome, captivating shows are presented for Carnival-goers eager to sing and dance. Do not miss this unique winter experience! <em>February 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, and 10, 2024.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Entertainment for the Whole Family:<\/strong> Throughout the event, Carnival-goers of all ages can enjoy a variety of shows and activities, including snow and ice tobogganing, games, sugar shack stands, musical performances, and more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DETAILS:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Schedule:<\/strong> January 25 to February 11, 2024, Everyday &#8211; All Day.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Admission:<\/strong> The Effigy is the official pass for the Qu\u00e9bec Winter Carnival, but it is not mandatory for those aged 12 and under.
